About Our Board

Hi, my name is Nannette Gonzalez and I'm the Cofounder and president of ROCK Ministries! However, I like to think of myself as a missionary on a mission to hug as many babies that I can for the Lord! I have been blessed beyond measure over many years by being a "mother to the motherless" and to be friends with some of the poorest people I know but so rich in the Lord! I have learned to so many from this culture and I find it a privilege to be called to Romania! Hi, my name is Kari Kari Jorgenson. I first went to Romania when I was 16 years old and my life was changed forever. The lives of the children that I encountered made such an impact on my life. I returned every year after that, to keep working with kids in the orphanages and in the hospital. After graduating from college in 2005, I moved to Romania for two years to be a full time missionary for ROCK. I loved every minute of it, and my heart will always be with those kids. Leonard Denney is a semi-retired businessman with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration Finance. His diverse professional background includes 20+ years in Retail Management including Staff Development and Occupational Training, Adjunct Professor of Marketing and most recently a Financial Officer and Partner of a Construction Corporation. He is married with two children and three grandchildren. He and his wife attend Laurelglen Bible Church (LBC) in Bakersfield, California and are active in the children’s ministry. He also sings in the LBC choir and with several other Christian musical groups. He met Nannette through his wife, who has known her since high school. His missions experience includes a 2008 mission with LBC to Hungary and to Romania in March of 2009 with R.O.C.K.
